How to Spend an Hour a Day in Prayer
Having a prayer time has never been much of a struggle for me. Getting my task-oriented, restless self to pray long enough, though, has been a struggle for me over the years. A couple of months ago I was struck anew with Acts 6:4 – “But we will devote ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word.” In God’s timing, He used this sermon to kick me off into one of the most exciting renewals of my life.
