If you look on your calendar, it probably says “Christmas Observed.” it is nice to have an extra day to have Christmas with my family. The picture above is Andrew reading one of the many books he received for Christmas (don’t worry, he received a few little toys, too). Praise the Lord that our nation still celebrates Christmas. I loved being with our church family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. God is so good to me.
Want to Plant a Church?
Merry Christmas! Just a reminder – If you feel like God is leading you to start a new church and you are overwhelmed by the thought, I would be glad to help you. It doesn’t require a big, complicated process. Drop me a line at macvalleybc at yahoo dot com
Reed Christopher Cooksey!!
Reed Christopher Cooksey was born at 1:41pm (Pacific) on November 8th. He weighed 10 pounds and is 21 inches long. He has 7 excited siblings and a very beautiful mom. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Reed – Reed is the 4th generation “R” Cooksey
- All of our other children have Bible names and Reed is a WORD in the Bible, though it is not a NAME in the Bible.
- Our chairman of our deacons last name is Reed – he represents all the wonderful people who have loved on us at our church.
Christopher – We like the name, it means “Christ-bearer” and there is a precious boy in our church whose first name is Christopher.
Fox News Panel on the Elections
Kathy and I get most of our political news from Real Clear Politics (short clips from various news shows). I thought this clip from Fox News was a good discussion regarding Tuesday’s historic election.
